Declining optional cookies never changes how this website works: every form, the calculator, the quiz and the map work the same either way.

When you first visit, nothing optional loads until you choose. You can allow or decline analytics and advertising separately, and change your mind any time. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising cookies stay off.

Things that are not cookies
While you fill in a form, your answers are kept in this browser tab only, so a dropped connection does not lose your progress. They are removed when the tab closes. Your answers reach us when you press submit, or, on longer forms, once you have typed your phone number or email, so we can help if you are interrupted before finishing. When you finish an auction analysis, a copy is kept in the same tab so you can download the PDF, and it is removed when the tab closes. Videos load from YouTube only after you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Google Maps loads only when you choose Show on Google Maps, or on listing pages if you have accepted optional cookies, and Google may then set its own cookies. If you allow analytics, the link or ad that brought you here (for example a campaign tag) is kept in this tab so it can be sent with a form; if you decline, it is never saved. If one of our forms cannot be sent, we show Nutshell’s form instead; it loads from Nutshell, the customer-relationship software we use, and Nutshell may set its own cookies. To keep automated spam out, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is sending each form: it loads when you start a form, looks at technical details of your browser and connection (not your answers), and is not used for advertising. Now and then it asks you to tick a box.
